Portrait Collage’s

If you are a client of mine, then you know that I like to personalize things for you….no two shoots will ever be the same. I want each portrait to capture the spirit of that person and the location they choose. Now I’m having a ball in production by personalizing client collage’s. There are no restrictions when creating these which is fantastic! Just like my portraits, it is my goal with each collage to capture the feeling of the day. Here are a few of my favorite’s…

First Holy Communion with an incredible family!

Filed under: Uncategorized — momentscapturedbykellyrenee @ 4:00 pm

Every shoot touches a different part of me. With this shot, it was the family I was working with which was so amazing!

This was their daughter’s, their youngest, First Holy Communion and countless relatives were on hand to celebrate with her. The immediate family is who I was with for the duration of the shoot, even heading across the street from the church for a few family beach shots. With a teenage son, and two tween daughters, this is a family that could easily have ego’s and emotions going in all directions, but instead I saw them enjoying the day together, teasing and goofing around with each other, but also encouraging one another and I could genuinely see the love they all shared and that they truly enjoyed time together (even though you’ll probably never hear the teenager admit it).

There is something magical about seeing a family enjoying a day by simply just being together. It is my hope that when they look back on the many images I shot throughout the day, that they will forever see and remember the feeling and energy of the day.

I love my job so much for so many reasons!

The service is over…kick off those shoes!

After the Communion it was beach time! Time to kick of those shoes, roll up the jeans and simply have a little fun in the sand and surf together. I love that this family can really let their hair down and enjoy each other so much!

Put on your dancin’ feet!

This bundle of energy is Alyssa and she loves dancing! I was ask to do her dance portraits this year and the fun that we had shooting them, as well as her vibrant personality comes shining through in my shots. She was a joy to work with and it was so fun to watch her come out of her shell and get into the shoot revealing her true self and having a blast along the way. Great job Alyssa!

Mark….growing up.

This is Mark, one of my best friend’s 9 year old son. Like all of the kids his age that I have known for sometime…I can’t believe how quickly he is growing up. It seems like they all grow right before my lens. He had a blast with this shoot, and so did I. He may be growing up, but he is growing up to be one great kid…and he’s too adorable for words. Good job mom!
